Houseboat Vacation 2013: Days Three & Four

After a crazy/hilarious Friday night, our Saturday was much more "chill."  (In that we relaxed a lot and it was a bit chilly/windy outside!)

- This is called "the morning after."

- Did I mention we ate pretty well the entire trip?!

- The chef and his famous buffalo chicken wraps!

- Mariah's surprise baby shower!!  Too bad she couldn't make it!  (We missed you, Mariah!)

- "Everyone make the face that Erin made in that one picture yesterday!"  Hahaha!

- Out to eat in Lansing with many hilarious moments at the dinner table.

- The bride-to-be pops the cork for her engagement toast!

- A gathering wouldn't be completely without a rousing game of Celebrities!  (And just in case you're wondering, these two did NOT win.)

- Sunday morning slumgulligan.  Eggs, potatoes, and every single piece of leftover meat we failed to eat in the previous days.  YUM.

- Time for our final leg down river.  Everyone took their usual spots to enjoy the ride.

- Meanwhile, our new crew member found his own spot.

- Boys.  They always find something to fix.

- Jess makes sure she gets one final nap in.

And suddenly the bridge is in sight!

- She may be smiling... but she's not happy to be this close to McGregor.

- A final picture of the gang before people started leaving.

Flashback Friday: Jonathon's 21st

EPISODE FIVE: Jonathon's 21st Birthday (April 2006)

This was right up there with the mac & cheese party, in my book.  (Actually, I'm pretty sure it surpassed it.)

The birthday boy... all dressed up for a hawaiian-themed party.

I made cupcakes!

Meanwhile, David made cookies!

We had an apartment filled with people, ready to celebrate.

Including one of Jonathon's best buds.

Remember when David & Erin were dating?  Weird.  I love this picture!

Palm tree or mistletoe?

You think you look young, Brenda?  It must be the bang.

Then... we hit up a few bars to meet a few other cool people.

I also love this picture.  Cute boys!

Chili dogs!

And the epic finale to the night.  Butters present to Jonathon was allowing him to shave his head. (What was he thinking?!)

I'd say it was a great birthday, wouldn't you Jonny?

Snowmobiling

Drinks & dinner at the Old Man Restaurant!

Brenda & Erin... ready to head out on the sleds!

Here's Brenda, before she took off and broke the windshield off the snowmobile. (Oops!)

The following photo was staged... as if you didn't figure that out already.

Jonathon & Derek were our fearless leaders.  Who, thankfully, set aside their fearfullness to carefully lead us all around Clayton County.
