Flasback Friday: Nebraska Roadtrip

I'm starting something new on this blog.  For memory's sake I thought this blog should include some details and pictures from our time at Loras! (Feel free to take part if you like!)

Forgive me if I don't always get the details right.... and correct me if you'd like.   (My memory = not that great.)

Without further adieu, I bring you...

FLASHBACK FRIDAY
Episode One: Roadtrip to Nebraska (Dec 2004)

We made a surprise trip to Nebraska, just before Christmas in 2004.   Why?  We missed Brenda.  You see... she spent a semester in London.  And while she had a blast, there was an obvious void at Loras while she was gone.  When she arrived back in the states, the only way we could fill that void sooner rather than later.... was a 6 hour trip to Randolph, NE!

SURPRISE BRENDA!  WE'RE HERE!

Oh yeah, Jonathon is too!

The details of the few days there are a little blurry. But I do remember that it was wonderful, awesome, hilarious, great, and every other positively happy words you can think of.

My favorite memories include a rousing game of cards.

And trying to drink out of the glasses with the fancy straws inside... not so easy. (Thanks, Megan!)

Also, having to deal with a lack of beds in the Arens house.  (Just kidding, of course.  We all just like to snuggle.)

Thank you for leaving us, Brenda.  If you didn't, we would've never had such an amazing reunion.
