Brother David Gets Married

We gathered in Dubuque to see brother David & Rachel get married!  David J., Jessie, & Megan were the wedding singers.

The reception was at Stone Cliff Winery, right on the Mississippi.

I (Cheri) was 3 days away from giving birth to Trace Russell.  Can you tell? (Talk about VERY pregnant and uncomfortable!)

Memorable moment:  We were at the end of the reception line for food.  David got chicken, one sprig of asparagas and two tiny potatoes. 

The dance was amazing!! Dueling pianos = awesome!  Brenda & Jenny's speech = awesome as well!

Great fun was had by all!

Skiing in Galena

Six of us met in Galena to ski.  How many actually skied?  Two. The excuses?  Jessie is scarred by a tragic skiing accident when she was very young.  (It is actually quite a lame excuse.  If you'd like to hear the story, just ask her sometime and I'm sure you'll agree.)  I (Cheri) was prego!  I'm not quite sure what Erin & Brenda's excuses were...
