Flashback Friday: Ireland

EPISODE SIX: Ireland (May 2003)

We went to Ireland on our choir tour freshman year.  It. Was. Amazing. ....And I took seven pictures.  (Seriously?  Seven?  I can't believe I only took SEVEN pictures!?!)

Remember when we found a store that sold a bunch of American food so we feasted on pringles, subs, and Sprite? There was definitely a lot of laughter on his couch.

It was also my first chance to get to know a couple wonderful ladies I was set to live with the next year.  Yes, they were a little nuts.  But I LOVED them.

Yeah, we got close pretty quick.

We toured the Jameson Whiskey factory.  Good tour.  Whiskey?  Gross.

What else do I remember from Ireland?  Dancing, pubs, cider, bunk beds, and rain.

Does anyone else wish they were sitting on this beautiful green lawn right this very moment?

Can we go back and do this again?

Flashback Friday: Jonathon's 21st

EPISODE FIVE: Jonathon's 21st Birthday (April 2006)

This was right up there with the mac & cheese party, in my book.  (Actually, I'm pretty sure it surpassed it.)

The birthday boy... all dressed up for a hawaiian-themed party.

I made cupcakes!

Meanwhile, David made cookies!

We had an apartment filled with people, ready to celebrate.

Including one of Jonathon's best buds.

Remember when David & Erin were dating?  Weird.  I love this picture!

Palm tree or mistletoe?

You think you look young, Brenda?  It must be the bang.

Then... we hit up a few bars to meet a few other cool people.

I also love this picture.  Cute boys!

Chili dogs!

And the epic finale to the night.  Butters present to Jonathon was allowing him to shave his head. (What was he thinking?!)

I'd say it was a great birthday, wouldn't you Jonny?

Flashback Friday: Graduation Day

EPISODE FOUR: Graduation Day (May 2006)

Here is the day how I remember it.  We got all dressed up in brown.  (On accident, right?  Did we plan the brown thing?)  Then Megan and I sang a BEAUTIFUL arrangement of some song in front of the world... at least, we think we did.  (Were we giving a speech?  Guess what... we don't remember!)

Lovely ladies, all graduated and stuff.

Let's throw in some un-graduated folks... we still love them anyway.

One last picture with security guard, Mick.  (Actually, I think this is my first picture with Mick, as well. Random!)

Here's the brown I was talking about!  We looked GOOD at our giant after-party..

Although, we're not very strong.  Can you believe it took all four of us to lift this cake?  We probably should have worked out more.

Then... there was the video that still makes me cry.

... even though it makes the Arens family laugh.

Here is the video in really bad quality because I shot it off my computer screen.

I mean, look at all these people who love us!

Happy Graduation Day, beautifuls.

Flashback Friday: Senior Homecoming

EPISODE THREE: Senior Homecoming (October 2005)

Hey guys... remember when Megan was homecoming queen of Loras College!?

Yeah, that was pretty awesome.

And then we took this awesome picture where all our eyes positively glowed.

Then, we took this picture of all the people Megan beat out for Queen. (She beat the boys too, really... she did!)

Then we got all purple and gold and had a lot of fun.

Sorry that this post wasn't more exciting... but Homecoming 2005 sure was!

Especially when I cropped myself out of this picture because of how bad I looked.

 Have a great Friday!
